😓😓😓🥺 I used to be a member but after going thru homelessness and begging for help from multiple people within the church… which gave me a lot of false hope that never came to fruition… I had people tell me they were going to help me and took my information down and passed my information to other people but then… I never heard back from anyone… that was almost 3 years ago… and now I’m still homeless… I’m from Illinois here in Georgia and the only family I had was the father of my children who ended up building resentment towards me for the things I reminded him Of himself… He was abusive… He made all of the money and had all of the power… so I reached out explaining exactly what my situation was and what kind of help I needed… knowing that I’m not alone and that’s these are supposed to be my family… I humbly asked for help and explained in depth what I was going thru… I believe that when a church gets so big… and is doing great things in other places…. I believe it’s easy to forget about helping our own… and I’m just one single person and the only going that would have come from the help is my testimony… not that same as bringing a village together and introducing them to God and building churches in places God was forsaken…. Just myself and my children… now 3 years later this past year because I don’t have family members to just go to until I got on my feet and the shelters stay full… I had to allow my children’s father to take them for this past school year… I’m no closer to getting stable or on my feet but the lord knows over tried… I just don’t understand how a person with nothing is suppose to come up from under that… I had to share this story after hearing that beautiful woman’s testimony on how The church filled her with friendship… and the same church… left me feeling the opposite… yet I’m still her for the word…. I didn’t want to take away from anyone touched by the church… but I felt it was fair to share my testimony as the little, meek, unwed, abused woman, mother, daughter, my testimony over the over looked and in seen… maybe if I was married or have more throughout the years then maybe more people would have felt compelled to help… this is what I left with feeling… 🥺😓 Don’t grow so big that you forget about the “Every Man” or woman
